Osprey Fairview 40

Name: Osprey Fairview 40
Brand: Osprey
Availability: InStock

Updated Aug 23, 2026

Women’s-fit sibling to Farpoint 40. Same 40L travel brief; harness and fit are the difference Osprey publishes.

Why we recommend it

Same carry-on volume story as Farpoint with a published women’s harness. All Mighty Guarantee still applies.

Who it fits

Couple. Two people sharing cubes, quiet on the plane, and a bag each that still fits the overhead.

A palm-lined beach with umbrellas and clear shallow water

Carry-on backpacks

Fairview 40 gives the Farpoint’s 40L travel brief a women’s-fit harness. Osprey sells it as a different harness, not a colorway, and its weight is on the Fairview table rather than Farpoint’s.

Shortlist reason: published 40L carry-on and lifetime repair program. Fit tip: check the torso size on the hangtag.
